Battery equipment manufacturers use a large number of rubber separators, sintered plastic partitions, chemical fiber felt and glass fiber composite partition, a small amount of paper separator.
Paper separator: big pore size, moderate porosity, poor corrosion resistance, and good use with glass fiber.
Rubber separator: with small aperture and stable performance, it is a good separator. The manufacturing process is complex and the cost is high.
The sintered polyvinyl chloride separator has the advantages of large pore size, little pore, simple production process and low cost.
There are several promising separators for battery equipment, such as polyethylene separators, non-woven fabric partitions, and ultra fine glass fiber partitions, and their performance is superior to the aforementioned partitions.
